What does the Cascade Fund do?

The Cascade Fund will assist entrepreneurial staff to create new products and services and will provide the required means to create a spin out company or licence deal.

The Cascade Fund earns a return by taking a shareholding in a spin out company, a royalty share from a licence deal or through charging interest on loans, or some combination of these.

The Cascade Fund will only invest in projects with real commercial potential and which will yield a commercial return on the cash Cascade invests.

The Cascade Fund does not award grants.
